Advanced — Personal desktop

:::note Advanced mode Desktop stays hidden until you turn on Advanced mode. It is included from the Pro plan. :::

Your personal desktop is a private Google Chrome that runs in Kroov. Logins and cookies stay on a volume that belongs only to you.

Who can use it

The desktop is included from the Pro plan. It is personal: one per account, never shared with a project or teammate.

Start and stop

  1. Open Desktop in the Advanced sidebar (or the Desktop tab on Android).
  2. Accept the personal desktop terms the first time.
  3. Click Start. The first boot can take a minute.
  4. Click Open Chrome to use it. After 15 minutes of inactivity it turns off; your profile is kept.

Reset profile wipes cookies and downloads.

Let an agent use it

An agent may use this Chrome only when you ask it to and confirm — Allow agent in the app, or a standalone yes / oui / ok in the assistant chat or on a linked Telegram channel. A confirmation card is optional. To take the keyboard back, click Take control (this pauses or stops the agent). Hand back to agent resumes it after you are done (login, 2FA, captcha).

If you asked the assistant to use Chrome, it first calls desktop_request_access and waits for your yes (a Yes/No card in chat, or yes / oui / ok on Telegram). It must not type passwords or complete a captcha itself: it asks you to take the keyboard (a card in chat plus this page), then waits (up to 30 minutes) for you to hand it back. It must not substitute a web-search answer for something it failed to read in Chrome.

While Chrome is running, completed minutes are billed against your organization's monthly credits (2 credits per minute by default). The desktop stops if the budget runs out.
